The Kronreif, Trunkenpolz, Mattighofen (KTM) was a metal workshop on the beginning .This workshop was started by Hans Trunkenpolz .They started producing motorcycles in 1951 and their first motor cycle was R100 in 1951
Ernest kronreif became primary share holder of KTM in 1955 and KTM was renamed as Kronreif and Trubkenpolz Nattighofen .
KTM's first comet moped was launched . ktm's comet moped has high enquires and sold well.
